Hi everyone. For those of you with Endometriosis, what type of IVF cycle did you do? I have done 2 antagonist egg freezing cycles before I was diagnosed and am looking to do a third egg freezing cycle but this time agonist. However my Endo symptoms are escalating between each cycle. I don’t want to go on the pill as it appears to have quietened my ovaries more than normal last cycle resulting in a poorer response. Just wondering if there is anything I could do between to help myself. I was wondering about potentially natural progesterone during the back half of my menstral cycle until I start the next Egg freezing cycle in 2 months. TIA for any thoughts.

Endometriosis and treating symptoms between egg freezing cycles
Hi FutureBabyMaybe. I'm sure your specialist will put you on the best treatment cycle that is best for you. Have you thought of having some acupuncture? I have heard of good results to say it can quieten down the endometriosis. Might be worth a try. Obviously, I wish you well with egg collection next time, so that you can add to the ones you already have stored. Good luck! Diane
Hi DianeArnold, thank you for your response. I was wondering what can be done in between cycle versus specifically on an egg collection cycle. I know I can’t go on the pill as we think this potentially quietened my ovaries too much, leading to a poor response in cycle 2 vs cycle 1, but escalating Endo may also have impacted things, so looking to see what I can do to indirectly treat Endo without impacting a future cycle while I wait two months to start my next cycle.
Hi. Apart from the acupuncture, perhaps you could look up anti-inflammatory foods to eat, as they may help o quieten it down. Have a look at stepintomygreenworld.com they list such foods. Diane
Hi, it’s not been very long, but I gave up dairy and so far have had two periods now where I’ve had barely any pain and no other endo symptoms. It’s only been two months so I’m not 100% sure it’s down to this - could be other things I’ve changed, but since it’s so easy to do these days thought it was worth sharing in case it helps you. I had never thought that dairy could be inflammatory for me, but now I suspect it is. Good luck! X
