Embryo freezing is generally "best," as they give the best chance of a live birth later, more so than an egg. If you have the resources, though, you could do both. Only you can know what is right for you.
I would definitely say embryos but some eggs won't be bad to freeze as well. Did you try naturally to get pregnant? If your husband sperm is good than low AMH is not a massive problem as you are young, so eggs should have good quality now. Good luck with whatever you decide to do β₯οΈπ€
Oh I am really sorry to hear that. We are in a similar situation 6 years of trying, male factor infertility but my AMH is very good 35.5 pmol/l and I am 30 now. Go for Embryo banking this is what we also did, it will cost you less money as it will be a package. We did this because of PGS testing but you can do just to have more embryos frozen. All the best ππ€
Egg freezing has a huge drop off rate - Iβm sure I read somewhere to expect only 10% of eggs to survive thaw for fertilisation and make it to blastocyst and with low AMH you arenβt going to get dozens of eggs.Since your married Iβd definitely opt for freezing embryos - if you can do a 3 cycle a package to maximise the number you can get banked.
Why wouldnβt you just go straight into a transfer?
I agree with Ivfgotadream - I've been reading some research on this recently as I was considering using frozen eggs from my sister - but there's a huge drop and frozen embroys have a much better ratio to live birth than frozen eggs - and that's still the case for someone with a high AMH level. If everything else is even - I'd go for embryos. Best of luck for you xx
