Good evening all.

Just popped back on to see so many new people hope you are all well.

I've been having a long break with the IVF as it was seriously messing with my head I now feel ready to start again with the process after my holiday in a few weeks.

However on the 4th of June my appendix decided to throw a hissy fit and I needed surgery to remove it. I now have 3 lovely scars on my stomach.

Has anyone else ever had this or any kind of surgery to their stomach? Did it delay you starting treatment. I know they go pretty close to the ovaries when they go in.

Welcome back! I’ve had a laparoscopy and a TAC fitted before starting ivf (TAC is a stitch placed so high up around bottom of uterus that it’s done like a c section). Despite all my surgery I was able to start ivf the following month x
