Weight loss during keto

Hey, i have been on the Keto (low carb no sugar) diet for just over 2 weeks now and I'm starting to get a bit concerned. i am only small as it is, 5ft 4 and around 8st8 but i have dramatically lost about a stone in these 2 weeks and now classed as underweight. I am eating as much as i can of what im allowed but i can't seem to stabilise my weight 😣 do you think its time to see the GP or should i give it another few weeks to see if i stabilize.

Thanks in advance

I’m sorry that I don’t know the answer to this. Forgive my potential ignorance but I’m interested to hear about why you’re on the keto diet xx

Im not as clued up about it as a i should be, but i believe my sugar levels and insulin are proventing me to ovulate regularly. There is a certain hormone which they check on day 3 of your cycle and it was abnormal for me.

Keto is ace! Have you tried upping your fat intake? Bulletproof coffee is a great way to do it! x

I have full fat everything and feel full after every meal. I do feel like i have more energy in general, and im hoping that once my body is fully ajusted ill either put the weight back on or stabilize

I've got to say in my experience the weight doesn't stop coming off with Keto! Maybe you could gradually add in a bit of carb to stabilise your weight? Not enough to spike your insulin or blood sugar levels but enough to gain a bit back?

Yeah that makes sense, i think ill see how it goes over the next few weeks. Then reassess 😁
