Today a blood test confirmed that I had a chemical pregnancy because my HGC number has decreased instead of increase. Although I was devasted I am trying to remain positive and an focusing on the fact that I actually got pregnant. This is the first time ever! I feel more sure that my body can do it. I am determined to try again and feel thankful for the fact that j have 4 on ice. Please can anyone give me an example of getting pregnant and having a baby following a CP. Any advice on this would be very appreciated.
I fell at my nieces 1st birthday party which is where I was when I got the news. I grazed my knee and scrapped my hand. I doesn't rain but it pours.

I can not give you any positive stories but I am going through the same thing right now... first beta very low, I am having a second one on Tue which no doubt will be confirmed as a chemical
But same as you, it gives me hope that something started working, I did not have any positive outcome from doing IVF before that
Good luck for the future transfer x
Morning!
It’s devastating, but as you say it proves it can happen. I got pregnant following the transfer of 2 blasts and then miscarried at 9 weeks. I then had a further transfer of 2 frozen blasts and now have my 10 month old son, Jack.
I had a CP in 2017. On 14 June 2017 a scan confirmed chemical at 7 weeks. It’s a good outlook to have now that your body does know how to get pregnant. I was devastated. Worried it would never happen if we tried again. We did try again in 2018. Nervous, panicked and assuming nothing would happen. This morning my 5 month old baby woke me up with a huge smile on her face. It does work. Keep strong warrior xx
I’m sorry love, so heartbreaking. I think you’re right to see the positive in this - your body can get pregnant! Wishing you every luck for your next round. Xx
I’m so sorry to hear the news. I’ve been thinking of you all week xx onwards and upwards. We’re trying again next month. It does get easier as time passes, but like you said at least you were pregnant xx
Sorry to hear your news. It’s horrible to have a chemical. But like you say it’s at least evidence you can get pregnant. I had a chemical with my first FET. My third FET 6 months later was successful and I now have a 4 month old asleep upstairs. Good luck with your next cycle! x
