Not long until round two (and final round😬). Iv finished work for the time being to really ensure I’m stress free. Hopefully starting next week.
Please can someone remind me what the do’s and don’ts are during ivf stages. Can you swim, have bath or spa during Stim stage? Or best to steer clear?
Im taking the pregnancy vitamins and completely caffeine. Iv bought some pineapple and pomegranate.any other advice ladies ? Xx
Hi, no baths only warm showers and they say stay away from using your stomach muscles after transfer?!? Well my doctor did. Mine also said no intercourse (including masterbation) sorry to be direct! 😱Low doses of caffeine, good, clean foods and chill....

Hey Shiny Halo - I'm only downregging so fine for now but I had disasterous IVF at Xmas with lots of sex and masturbation... why did your docs say bad? Mine never mentioned. Cheers!

They told me that use of the muscles when you are having sex or masturbating can disturb implantation. My clinic advised no sex or masturbation for the full 2 weeks after transfer; but I do know not all clinics advise this so I think it depends where you go.

Ah this wasn't after transfer. This was during Stims... I certainly felt... stimulated! Hehe. IVF was a disaster though as hormone levels bounced up and down which new clinic has said makes zero sense and would have buggered my eggs so happy to be working with new clinic. Much cheaper in Greece than Bangkok too! How's your journey going? x
Hey was just talking to my other half. We were told no sex during stims too 😆 and like you I was particularly stimulated lol! But had to abstain. We can’t remember the reason though.
