Hi, my clinic charges £3,800 for a standard ivf cycle. This includes the cost of drugs. Xx

I believe everywhere is different. My clinic said c£5k for a full round. I don't understand why everywhere doesn't just charge the same. It seems to be a bit of a postcode lottery as to how much funding we get and how much things cost of we go private!

Very dependant on where you are, but you can ask for an estimate to be worked out based on your circumstances. We were told 3600 I think for regular Ivf, but we require icsi, so just over 6K for us and as no eggs left from first try it's start again after more tests 😢

It's so hard isn't it it's something you long for but how far do funds get you because once your savings have gone they've gone :( and it's so hard to keep up with the financial side of things as well as running a house and not trying to et stressed out :/ xx

Good luck for this time chick xx

Thank you, you too!

Very much so, my OH works in offshore industry so had to be off work for a while to do the treatment so that was an additional savings cost. The only two that survived were implanted, lost one v early, the other took and was growing very well but I suffered a placental abruption at 17.5wks so obv our daughter sadly didn't make it 😢. OH been home since 2wks before we lost her, (10wks now) and we hoped to be starting again this month whilst he was still here with the last of our savings, but found out yesterday I need to have a hysteroscopy as the way we lost her means they need to check if there is an issue that prevented me from carrying her long enough. It's a long nhs wait, or 2k to have it privately.

My clinic quoted me £7500 including drugs in the NHS hospital we originally used (in London) Was extra drugs that added up to that price... We were forced abroad because of it.

It will also depend on long/short protocol and wether you need IVF or icsi and also if you are going to be freezing anything - sperm or embryos. Good luck. We were told about £7000. That's icsi, sperm freezing and first year of freezing. X

Hi, we had to pay for our one nhs ivf attempt and it was £3,500. This was short protocol, without any extras. Hope that helps xx
