Additional IVF Techniques - HELP!

I had no idea there are so many optional add-ons for IVF! We are doing our second load of consent forms and they are asking us if we want:

-Embryo Glue

-Assisted Hatching

-Endometrial Scratch

-Embryoscope

-PICSI

Other than the scratch, this is the first I am hearing of any of these and it's really stressing me out! This is our first (and hopefully last) round so we have done everything through the NHS so far, but all of these treatments cost more money. Because of this, I feel I can't ask the clinic what they recommend, because they will try and sell us as much as they can to make more money (just over £1700 if we opt-in to everything). Googling effectiveness is like trying to find a needle in a haystack as there are so many conflicting opinions and not a lot of conclusive scientific study. What I do know is that there is barely any chance any of these techniques can do any harm or lower our chances, so I'm tempted to go for as many as we can afford.

Would really appreciate any thoughts on this, but please don't just say 'Don't waste your money, there's not enough research'.

There are so many add ons that dont have much proven benefits. Here is the traffic light system from HFEA. Might help you to reason if you think any are necessary. It can all get so expensive!!xx

Our clinic uses embryo glue as standard... we did have to pay any extra.

Have you taken your medication into consideration whilst doing your costing?

I almost dropped the phone when the pharmacy called for payment ££££’S especially as i thought it all worked out.

Good luck with your journey x
