Baseline scan Finally

So today our day has come for our baseline scan after months of checks bloods and god knows what else I’m finally getting my baseline scan done and hopefully really get our journey underway .Im so emotional today but I’m putting that down to Aunt Flo cause she always makes me cry 😂😂 but today is a good day today 19 th June 2019 I hope marks the start of our journey together onto the road of a baby of our own together mixed emotions but hopefully soon we will be sharing positive news with you all as I hope for everyone else that you all will be sharing positive news with me .Do to anyone who’s at the same point with me today I wish you every luck in the world and to the women and men who are further into there journeys I’m spreading baby dust on all you lovely deserving people .Stay positive folks good things are coming xxx

Hiya I have been given the go ahead at my local hospital for nhs funded IVF. I am waiting for my paperwork to come through the post at the moment. I wanted to ask what kind of checks/tests will I have before you start the actual IVF treatment? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you xx

I’m having iui not ivf it’s a lot less invasive as I suffer severe vaginismus.I had my initial consultation back in March then I had bloods done partner had Sperm analyses done I had bloods to check my ovarian reserve which was good and partners sperm count was also good then I had more virology bloods to check us both for hiv hep c and so on then with my clinic I had to have doctors check to make sure I wasn’t a risk to a child that took me 6weeks so it was a long old wait but I’m finally on my way .This journey ain’t easy no matter the fertility treatment your gonna be undergoing so brace yourself for stops and starts and remember your not on your own but more importantly GOOD LUCK 😉 xx

Such an exciting time!! I think it’s all a a bit overwhelming when you’ve waited and planned for it for so long so I’m not surprised there were tears!

Really pleased for you! I’ve got mine tomorrow and I’m really hoping I can get started and get things moving. Lots of mixed emotions... Scared for a repeat of last time but also excited to be starting a new protocol and hopeful this will be our chance! xx

You got this, once you start you find you just handle it(as we do with a ton of things as women) we are hanging in there, hoping to get more info on Tuesday from consultant after our BFN.xx
