Just been for our baseline scan for natural fet and to sign paperwork!!
All good on the scan, lining is perfect and two dominant follicles!!
Ive to keep testing and phone when I get a peak, which she thinks won’t be long off!! Exciting!!!!

Hey, sounds like great news. This is a stupid question but if you’re having a FET why does there need to be dominant follicles. Does FET stand for Frozen Embryo Transfer or have I totally got the end of the stick!? Only ask as I’m due to have one in a couple of months time.
That’s a question I was thinking too!! And I think it’s because you have to release the egg to enable them to transfer the embryo!! So if you don’t ovulate yourself that’s why you would have a medicated one (I think that’s right) 🙈xx

Do you need to take any medications at all for a natural FET or is it just timing ovulation? In any case, it sounds much easier on the body than a medicated FET. x
On a natural fet no! I’ve just to use the lovely pessaries!! Xx
