I’m on day 29 of my cycle (usually 33 days) and for the last 2 days I’ve had a heavy feeling on one side where I would imagine my right ovary is! And sometimes it has been more of a sharp pain on and off. I’m on 50mg of clomid and have pcos? Has anyone every experienced this before? It feels totally different to period pain and haven’t had this on my previous clomid cycles.
Thanks

Hello. I am on Clomid for PCOS too. My body isn't reacting perfectly to it so I have regular internal scans to check how it is working / or isn't! I have pains when the follicles are growing larger and are plus 20mm, the pain usually lasts 2 days for me. I then have an injection to ensure I ovulate and I get sharp pains during ovulation as well, again for around 2 days. I haven't as of yet had any other pains other than at those two times. My body seems to react to each clomid cycle in a completely different way so I wouldn't worry that you feel different this time. Maybe speak to your gynaecologist if you are worried? I hope this helps.
Hi there, I've had a total of 5 cycles now and every time the pains/feelings are all different. If you are on day 29 of a 33 day cycle, would you have ovulated by now? Could this pain be where a large follicle has released an egg? The only other time I've had a sharp pain is when I've had a cyst burst, it was picked up on an internal scan on one of my clomid cycles and I was advised that it was nothing to worry about. If you're unsure have you tried contacting who ever prescribed you the clomid to check with them? xx
