I guess I am excited to be at long last starting but the nerves are also kicking in! I only physically go in to work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays so nervous that I start injections on an in work day. Any tips for doing them? How quickly did you feel side effects? 😬

Hi - unless you suffer from needle/injection phobia you will probably find this less of a bother than you expected! the needle is nice and thin and as long as you squeeze your jelly roll and put the needle in gently at the angle they showed you, you might not even feel it! I didn't have any side affects with it which I was pleased with - good luck, we are all very lucky to be able to get the support to improve our chances of a bundle of joy. xxx

I used to be very scared of needles but over time I’ve got used to them. Still can’t look when it’s getting done but I think maybe I’ll be more ok with that when I’m doing it myself as I’m in control! I’ve maybe read too much from people having bad experiences! 🙈 Very pleased to hear you had no side effects I’ve been quite nervous about those! I know we’re really lucky, I’m so pleased to finally be getting the ball rolling and hopefully one step closer to finally having a baby! x

Aww exciting times ahead, although totally get your anxiety.

I had a few side effects from Buserelin but everyone is different... I felt like I was hungover constantly - headache tired and a bit irritable 😂 This eased when I started stims.

I was really nervous about injecting myself but follow advice of clinic, do it nice and slowly and make sure you've got a treat lined up for after (cuppa and chocolate sorted me out)

Good luck x x

I remember reading posts from people saying they were nervous and wondering if they should do it and at the time thinking come on you’re finally there just be grateful! But yep the shoe is on the other foot now! 😂

I can probably deal with hangover symptoms. I’m worried about nausea and insomnia I don’t do well with either. But sounds like I’ve read too many worst case scenarios! I’ve to do them in the morning so I was a bit concerned about doing the injection and heading straight to work but that’s what has to be done! And it’s only a couple of weeks hopefully so I know I can do it!! X

It's a funny old mixture of emotions. Our wobble came on day 2 when it all started to sink in a bit.

I'm sure you will be absolutely fine - you've totally got this 💪 x x
