Have my first transfer tomorrow after 3 failed IUIs. Partially excited, partially nonchalent (which I feel guilty about). Maybe because I'm trying not to get my hopes up. But have a great grade embryo going in. Any advice about how to spend the rest of my evening (certain drinks, bit of comedy, early night) and what to do tomorrow beforehand (best brekkie for example). And after (I need to work, but said I'm going to work from home; any recommended food I should eat). I've acupuncture booked before and straight after. At the same time I want to kind of act like nothings happened so I don't stress myself out. Any tips will be welcome!
I cant believe I'm at this stage now, fingers crossed this is my time.

Ohh how exciting for you and well done you on getting your acupuncture sessions in before and after. I can only go on what I did based on what I’d read on here... so I did the acupuncture before and after... also had a few McDonalds chips 😂... has pomegranate juice not from concentrate for 5-6 days I think and also ate pineapple and the core for 5 days and rested... watched loads of tv and went for short walks. I did get my bfp.... currently 5 months old but not sure if all the above helped or not... I liked to think it all had a part to play though...good luck and throwing lots of baby dust your way 😘😊
I wouldn’t recommend anything diet wise in particular except to try to eat relatively sensibly, cake and chocolate are fine in moderation! Don’t exceed your caffeine intake to more than 200mg per day. Eat your fruit and veg. Keep yourself busy, particularly your mind, but don’t do anything too strenuous and good luck xx
The old wives tales say eat pineapple (including the core), blueberries, Brazil nuts and drink pomegranate juice. I’ve also heard some ladies talk about McDonalds fries (something to do with one of the ingredients used in the cooking process) but haven’t personally tried that one.
For me, lots of walking during the 2ww worked, but don’t overdo it. Good luck!
My congratulations with your first FET!)) I had mt FET 3 times and 3rd one was positive. It ended with mc but still, it was a good result. I think that you have probably had it already so I wonder, how did it go? How do you feel? What you've been told to do after the transfer?
Went well except for the fact it was delayed because my bladder was not full. Then I felt so nauseous after drinking approx 14 glasses of water in 15 mins. Then I missed the acupuncture appt. Disaster! But I got there in the end and feeling happy. Just gonna take it easy for next while, even on things lime hot ginger drinks etc. Thanks for asking x
OMG! You are "lucky", hun, lol) That's great that everything went well without serious issues. Glad that you are happy. I wish your bean will stick! Everything crossed for you dear. And about water, I don't know how you could drink so much water at once)))!
Hi hun. How are you? How was your weekend? What did you do these days? When is your OTD? are you going to do some home tests or just wait for an hcg blood test?
Yeah I'm good, just took it handy and relaxed all weekend. Not feeling the symptoms much today. Trying not to think about it. I'm due to take the test on teh 28th. Just your standard home test given to me by the clinic- dont think I can wait for a blood test.
