May seem like a daft question, but is is vital this test is done on Day 21 of cycle or could it be done day before/after?
Trying to schedule blood tests in is really tricky and this is only the start. Something I'm going to have to get used to I guess... Also, what happens if Day 21 falls on a Sunday and it's not possible to get a blood test done? Would you have to wait till next cycle?

I had mine done on day 18 because usually my cycle were 25 but that mth it was going to be 28 days so should have been 21. But there was no nurse available to do it on day 21 on a training course but it was fine was 27.4 at 4dpo, I conceived that cycle, if not they could do it again the next mth. My first test on a 25 day cycle done on cd21 was abnormal think it was too late.
I would be inclined to do it a day later rather than a few days early, Im sure mine was on day 22. It also may depend on your own cycle, do you have a 28 day cycle as that's what the day 21 is based on.....as you would be expected to ovulate on day 14 and your progesterone rises and should be highest around day 21. So long as they see a good rise that's all they are looking for.xx
Hi loiusejane. If you have a regular 28-30 day cycle I would go for Day 22. If less than 28 days then go for Day 20. Hope that helps and good luck with the result. Diane
I don’t think a day later will make a difference. As others have eluded to, the test should be 7 days after you ovulate so if you don’t have a normal 28 day cycle then you should adjust the date accordingly.
