Quick question

Hey all as some of you may know I didn’t quite make my 2ww and started bleeding day before my OTD with a BFN on the 29th May.

So now I’m a little better in my head and body since then and can think clearer just want some advice if anyone can.........

We have an embryo in frozen 5day blasto

When would be the earliest anyone would consider or have been told they are able to have a transfer after last course of failed treatment?

Also DH says he thinks I shouldn’t be flying or going on holiday after an embryo transfer and should wait till we are back and start on Oct/Nov?

Thanks lovelies xx

I had two FET. After the first failed one I had a bleed which they don’t count as a period coz of the medication. I then had the wait for a period and call up on the first day of the second period to start medication for the second FET. I hope that makes sense.

To add, I think there might be a longer wait after a fresh transfer coz the medication is so much more intense (though I can’t really remember coz that was last summer for us). I’d check with your clinic on what their policy is.

Hi, I had a fresh cycle and had a negative result. I bled 3 days after stopping meds. My clinic told me to wait until my next period and I could go ahead with my FET on that cycle. Unfortunately due to other medical reasons I had to delay slightly so will be starting my FET a cycle later x

My clinic allows you to do FETs back to back, so start again straight when you’re bleeding. If on a fresh cycle, you have to wait one out. Good luck!

My NHS clinic said 3 months in between. My private clinic is sooner. It's ok to fly after, there are lots ladies on here having treatment abroad including myself and I fly home from Athens. However I'm not allowed to swim after transfer which is a pain but going on holiday and sometimes being in a different environment away from home is more relaxing for the 2ww.xx
