Hi all, just finished my first round of IVF and it was a negative. I was obvs devastated about this but wanted to know some info off you lovely ladies on here. I was originally on Cetrotide and Gonal F injections prior to egg collection. Then moved onto Cyclogest Pessarys but the thing I want to know is did anyone suffer tummy wise while going through the meds on IVF?
It seems I have been running for the toilet after every meal and even now after I’ve been off the cyclogest im still ‘struggling’ 🙄🙁
I know this is kind of personal but if anyone had similar symptoms I’d love to know?!?

Cyclogest messes with my tum and it can take a week or so for everything to settle down and leave your system. Sorry to hear your cycle wasn't a success x
Thank you - it’s such a slow; hanging around process and I wasn’t expecting a negative which was perhaps a little bit naive but I’m looking forward to my review with my consultant to see what they can do for me. I’m one of those totally unexplained fertility people. But I know I’d feel loads better if they said right this is wrong and this is what we are going to do to fix it. Onwards and upwards though! 🦸🏼♀️
Such a positive attitude, that's what you need during this process. I've got everything crossed for you and wish you lots of luck with your future cycles x
OMG yes! Living hell! I'm wondering if it had any effect on the transfer as constrictions like that can't be good!
Terrible smelly wind too! I made sure I used them vaginally as this does make it better on your stomach and as soon as I took a couple of Rennies the wind stopped but it was horrendous whilst it lasted. They say relax post transfer, but how can you when your body is in havoc like that. I honestly think they should warn everyone in advance because whilst some have no problems there are many out there who do, and like I say, considering uterine contractions are not good for implantation, they really should try and prevent it.
