Ok, I am trying to stay calm but I need your advice...
We had a failed round of IVF in December, at the debrief last week we were told my egg quality was poor!
My period is 5 days late this month which I read was normal after a failed IVF cycle, did a test and left it as was sure it would be negative as normal... but came back and it was POSITIVE... prompt a dash to the shop for two more which are also positive!
Could this actually be true?! I’m in such disbelief I don’t know what to think?!
I phoned the clinic who advised I need to go to GP, got an appointment booked for tomorrow.
I really can’t believe it, after nearly three years this is the first time I have seen a positive.
I hope this post doesn’t upset anyone. If this is all true, I was always the one who read posts like this thinking it will never be me... but maybe it could be... and it could happen to you to 🤞 🙏🏻
Love to all xxx

I can’t believe only yesterday we were talking about new clinics! I don’t know what to do about the open evening tomorrow now! My head is all fuzzled! Lol xx
Wooowww the best surprise ever! Congratulations hun and wishing you happy and healthy nine months!! Personally I’m always happy to see happy endings/beginnings 💕💕💕💕💕🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🤩🤩🤩🤩xxxx
Aww thank you! Seriously I love seeing happy endings/beginnings. We are all in the same boat and we fight the same battle! And we all should feel happy for each battle won no matter who is it! Some battles take longer others are shorter the main thing is to be kind to ourselves, keep the positive mindset and just carry on whatever it takes!
Btw congratulations on your good results, the semen analysis and everything sounds great! So best of luck and never ever lose hope and keep a big smile on your face because the best is just yet to come! 🤞🤞🤞💕💕💕😍😍😍😍😍 Xxxx
Your mindset is my mindset. We are all in this together so we have to stick together. Thanks 🙏 hopefully I can start the process with not as much fear as I had yesterday. 😃 good luck with your journey xxxx hopefully we get our miracles soon ❤️
Way too relaxed hahaha but I was like that last year as well. I did 2 fresh rounds, one frozen and I’m doing another frozen. With the 1st round I was a bit stressed but not anymore 😸 xx
All positive stories give me even more hope! I’ve been always one of those desperately positive people no matter what. I also have my dark days but luckily they don’t last long 😂
Whatever is meant to happen comes sooner or later. Now is your time and just relax and enjoy what is to come! Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy 🥰🥰🥰💕💕💕💕xxxx
It’s early days but I so hope this is our time. However, I will never forget the journey to get here and this forum has kept me going at the hardest of times. I will always be proud to be part of such an inspiring group of women xx
I’ve read that up to 25% of couples that were unable to conceive end up getting pregnant naturally after ivf. Maybe something to do with the drugs ‘waking things up’ or something?! Dunno. Anyway, I’ve always wondered who those lucky people were?! Looks like you’re one of them! 😁Huge congratulations to you and wishing you a very happy, healthy & successful pregnancy xx
Thank you! The GP has said the drugs can kick start your body, I also took some new supplements this month - who knows what it was but I am so so grateful to be one of the lucky ones. Miracles can happen! Hopefully it will start to sink in soon lol xx
We will definitely be going for an early scan, I need piece of mind! 😊 thank you x
I took vitamin c, omega 3 and a fertility supplement - will PM you which one (not sure if I can name a brand on here?) wasn’t the cheapest, but for me, appears to have worked 👍 xx
Congratulations! Mental isn’t it. Same thing happened to me
4 years trying and 3rd failed round in November and after being 5 days late over Christmas with no symptoms I took a test and couldn’t believe my eyes.
Seems to take forever to get an appointment tho I’m going insane waiting to see what’s happening in there.
I’ve asked but the dr said it’s not likely unless you have a history of problems but I would like one. I think I may have to tell them about my treatment and how anxious I am and hopefully I’ll be offered one 🤞🏻
The GP was going to speak to the early pregnancy team this morning to enquire whether we could have one on the NHS given that we have just had a failed round of IVF. However, if not, I think we shall pay for one privately - I’m not sure I can wait until week 12! Xx
