Hi. Has anyone else suffered from an itchy bumpy red rash around the injection sites? My clinic says it’s common, but I can’t seem to find anymore information on it. Thanks

Yes, I have, but it doesn't last for too long. The first couple, I had a lump around the injection site for a while after too. Apparently, all quite common. They've got better over the last week though. Are you using cyclogest as well or just Lubion? X

Hi. That’s good to know, thank you. Yes using them with cyclogest as well. The rash appeared on day 11/12 which is weird, it’s like I’m having a delayed reaction x

Oh right. Strange then. Do you mind me asking what timings you use for pessaries and injections? X

Injections at 7pm and pessaries at 10.30pm before bed

I know this is an old post but I’ve had the same reaction. I got my bfp a couple of days ago and worried about this rash. It’s only at one of the lubion injection sites. I’m taking cyclogest twice a day with lubion once every other day. Did it go away in the end or did you need treatment?

Hiya, I hope you are well. What happened? I am experiencing this now. Was it an issue or just went away? xx

Hi. I used camomile lotion but to be honest it didn’t stop the itching. I called the clinic and they said to carry on but it got even more itchy, and I wanted to stop. I think I ended it 2 days before I was supposed to as I couldn’t take much more. Once I stopped injecting it did start to clear up but took a good couple of weeks to completely go. X

It eventually cleared up. The GP wasn’t worried about it so just said to keep it clean. I think it was where on a couple of the injections I massaged the area after injecting and it must have caused an irritation. I carried on injecting until 8 weeks and all was fine.
