I had my EC 2 days ago and felt great after they told me they got 10 viable eggs! I found out yesterday only 1 fertilized, which they thought might be due to sperm quality, and now I’m not feeling so positive. I’m due back in today for the transfer but only if the embryo has multiplied, which we will learn once we get to the hospital. I’m worried the quality of the embryo isn’t great because they want it back in so soon. Has anyone else been in similar situation and still been successful?

I haven’t had similar but just sending you positive vibes and keeping my fingers crossed for you that the one is a good one - it only takes one remember. Xx
They won’t know about quality at fertilisation, but they’ll be able to give you an idea once it starts to divide. I’ve always had day 2 and day 3 transfers due to only having 1 embryo to transfer on my first 2 cycles (both transferred at day 2) and then 2 on my 3rd cycle (day 3 transfer). The embryologists say it’s better to transfer earlier if you have 1/2 embryos. Good luck, this one could be your one 🤞
