This is our 3rd cycle of icsi so you would think I would be used to the emotional rollercoaster and ups and downs by now but it doesn't get any easier does it?!?

EC was yesterday, 8 collected but only 5 mature and had a call this morning to say 3 fertilised. Will have to wait and see how they develop to see if day 3 or 5 transfer. I know it only takes one but this is our lowest number yet, we had 6 at this stage on first cycle and 8 on the second. Well aware that we may well end up without anything to even transfer which would be awful.

Trying to stay positive, its not that easy though is it?!? Xxx

No, it’s really hard. We are on third round too and it gets so tiring! Be kind to yourself over the next few days xx

Good grief waiting on those phone calls is agonising isnt it and no you're right it doesnt get any better! I think the more we do it the more we know which sometimes is a good thing but not in knowing the disappointments we may face Fingers crossed for good news for you!xx
