When to test after day 3 transfer?

I’m currently 11dp3dt of 2 x grade 2-3 embryos (grade 1 being best and 4 worst at my clinic). The embryos were both fragmented 7 cells hence the reason for the poorer grading. My OTD is not until Monday 20th which will be 16dp3dt but on the sheet they had written 17th and then crossed it out and this is making me doubt the date they’ve given me!

I waited until test day on both my previous cycles but I’m working on Monday and definitely want to test before to lessen the pain if it’s negative. I know there’s a lot of variation between clinics but does anyone have any advice on when I might get a reliable test result? I will save the test the clinic gave me for Monday. Will 12dp3dt give a reasonable chance of a reliable result? Thanks

If 2 we is 14 days in essence then after a 3dt, you should wait 11 days. After 5dt wait 9 days etc. Hope this helps

I had a 3dt and I had a blood test to check the result at 11dpt. I think the blood test is much more sensitive than urine test and so it can be done earlier. I'm not sure for urine tests when is the best time to test but I wonder if 12dp3dt might be too early. It's really hard but I would be inclined to wait until OTD if you can. If you are working on that day then perhaps test the day before as well but make sure you retest on OTD to be sure. Good luck! x
