Well this is my first two week wait and boy do I now know what everyone has been saying what with it being really hard.
First day back at work after two weeks off and suddenly I am so anxious after being really chilled.
No symptoms just super sore nipples now and again and tired. Both from progesterone pessaries probably.
I also hate that I’ve been told not to do a home pregnancy test... I have to go into the clinic for a blood test. Well I am totally not looking forward to that day or specifically the afternoon phone call.
Any wise words from others who have been here and got the t-shirt?
Thanking you 🙏🏻❤️

This is my 5th tww and I feel all the things you’ve said, sorry I don’t think it ever gets easier 😬 all I would say is there’s nothing stopping you from doing a home pregnancy test the morning you’re due to go in if you feel more comfortable doing that.
I’ve been a mix between feeling positive and then super negative, I think unfortunately you just have to take each as it comes xx
Oh gosh hun it's horrible isn't it! I was off work for mine and seriously almost went crazy! Just hang in there is all I can say, I know each day feels like a week! Slowly but surely you will get there. Sending you lots of luck and baby dust!! 🤞🤞😘😘
Sorry to tell you that it doesn’t get any easier. I’ve done 4 and hopefully will be doing my 5th on Saturday 🤞🏻 All you can do is distract yourself as much ch as possible. Work might help with that.. In the evenings perhaps get stuck into a good book or a box set. Go out for a meal, an evening walk, anything to keep yourself occupied. Good luck xx
They can do all sorts of things.. I only started them yesterday and I’m tired but I’ve had stims and EC too in the last few days. The Doctor said today that tiredness is a side effect from drugs so try not to read too much into things at this stage xx
Oh heck, I dont think it ever gets any easier so dont really have any words of wisdom! I drive myself crazy in the 2ww, analysing every twinge....so hard not to! All that I can say is hang on in there, the days are ticking by allbeit agonisingly slowly. Hoepfully being back at work will help the time pass quicker and take your mind off it here and there. I found being in the house much worse. You could always do a test the morning before your blood if you think it will be easier than waiting all day. I tested before I was supposed to but I wouldnt recommend it....that was just what works for me. Good luck!xx
Thank you, oh how agonisingly slow it is! I may do a test with hubby on the morning before just so we can be together when we hear good or bad news. I was told by clinic that it could be a fake positive due to progesterone and hormones is that right? Xxxxxx
Its only beta hCG that is picked up on a pregnancy test! There is a danger that if you have done a fresh cycle and used a trigger hCG shot (prior to egg collection) that it remains in your system for around 10ish days but this would be well gone by test day so if its positive then its positive.xx
Oh right.... thank you, will be asking hubby if we can do that morning of test day. He hates me googling and wants to follow the clinic’s instructions to the letter so bet it’s a no. Will defo have to convince as I think it’s a harsh way to receive a phone call! Thanks a million x
Well good luck! I personally think it would be better to do it at home but if you're together for the phone call then I guess its the same thing. Some ladies prefer to do the test together as they cant be together at the phone call.xx
Hey, don't worry. Everything will be okay. I can understand your situation. But be strong. I hope IVF works for you. IVF is a bliss. And it has changed many people's lives. It has given hopes to many parents. Don't worry. And avoid as much stress as you can. Stress is not good for you. You will eventually get better with time. Journey is hard, but i am sure it will be worth it
The only definite thing is that the day will come eventually and hoping it's great news for you just do as many nice things as you can to pass the time x
