Egg Retrieval

We had our egg retrieval 3 days ago. I am still feeling discomfort and stomach aches and pain is that normal? How long is the stomach aches and pain lasts? I had a cysts on my right ovary that my Dr. drained which she was able to drain 4 vials of clear liquid. Does anyone else feel the discomfort of aches, pain and soreness in the stomach? Is there natural remedies I can do besides heating pad?

I had mine on Wednesday and feel the same, but it has reduced a lot since the collection.

I had my egg collection 3 days ago and I’m still having pain and discomfort! I have cysts on both ovaries, I’m guessing that it’s them adding to the pain and discomfort as I didn’t feel like this last time I went through ivf ( didn’t have any cysts that time) although it feels a little easier today !

Just hope it feels better before transfer !

The discomfort and pain can last longer for some. Your ovaries are still swollen and large from egg collection and stimulation which can take some time to settle down. It sounds like you're doing everything correctly. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water and if it gets worse contact your clinic for advice.xx

Water water and more water

I had mine on Monday. I’m suffering from OHSS and I’m only start to feel like I can return to work now. I have a physical job, so I have to take it easy, as you don’t want a hernia. I also couldn’t do a fresh transfer due to the swelling... I cried as I though I have let my team down, but it’s a month where I can focus on getting into Better physical and emotional shape
