Period?

Hi all i think I

Came on my period on Wednesday it was one day earlier then planned and was brown and hardly anything, I am on my honeymoon and as want to swim been using tampons but when attempting to change twice during the day they have basically been dry and just look like brown discharge and today there has been hardly anything at all? Is this anything to worry about?x

It just means your period is coming. This is spotting caused by the initial drop in progesterone which will then drop sufficiently for full period to come.

Yes only reason I’m questioning as never had it before it’s always just a straight period. But been spotting on and off since Wednesday

I know, crazy right? I think changes and variations over time are normal

I wouldn’t say so, I expect your real period will come in a few days. It does with me when this happens x

I always get spotting before my period arrives. I never used to when I was in my teens / early 20s, but I do now. Some months more than others. Told GP and she said it was normal in some people, just due to hormones changing. Period always comes within a week of spotting for me Xx
