Implantation bleeding v light period

Hi im 15 days post IUI and have experienced some light brown spotting. I dont have heavy periods any way. How do you know the difference? Our test day is christmas eve but need to settle my mind til then! Any ideas?

Well brown blood is old blood so could be implantation easily.

Hi Elma19. I think I agree with "katya38". Seems like the most obvious solution. Brown blood is old blood that has come away, and can even be the result of your recent IUI, after pulling and tugging to inseminate you. Gook luck and hope all works out well for you. Diane

I had this thought as well at 11 days post iui... mine turned out to be a period too 😓

We're now having a month off and will be trying again in January... how about you?

Hoping to enjoy some festive cheer over Christmas and chill out a bit - maybe 2017 will be our year! Xxx

We have to go back on the sperm donor waiting list so will be 3-6 months for us.

Christmas was hard but we got through it with family support.

I hope you guys are enjoying a month off.
