Gonal F dosage? Upping the dose during a cycle?

Hi everyone, I’m switching to gonal f (from bemfola) for my 2nd cycle next week. Just wondering what dose of gonal f others have had on their cycles.

Reason I ask is that my clinic is concerned about overstimulation (they suspected PCO) but my 1st round on 112.5 of bemfola resulted in a disappointingly low number of follicles and eggs. 2nd time around they’re starting me on 200 gonal f. I want to be prepared for the discussions re dosage of meds during my treatment scans over the next 2 weeks. Would love to hear some of your experiences. Xx

Hey hun I have been on gonal f for 2 rounds both on the same dosage of 225iu. I am on the heavier side so I think they go off your height/weight/AMH. 1st round 15 eggs (14 mature) 2nd round 14 eggs (11 mature) so worked really well for me. I do have a decent AMH though which all factors in I think. But yes I have only ever had gonal f for stims. Best of luck! 💖 xxx

Is depending what is your age and AMH level .

My last two cycles I was on gonal f. First I was 300iu and the last one because my age 39 this year and my AMH level 5.7 they increase dosage to 375iu.xx

With my two IUIs I was on gonal 37.5 both times. My first full cycle o started on 200 then on day 5 then increased it to 275. This cycle I started on 400 and have my day 5 bloods tomorrow.
