I am currently 11 weeks with my 1st FET. I carried on eating “pregnant” from my fresh and had acupuncture. I really think it helped. X

Thats amazing ladies.. ive had a fresh cycle and once again it was a BFN.. but i have 5 frozen day 6.. top grade embryos in the freezer and im just in 2 mind when to say enough if enough.. ive already had 3 trasfer.. 3 FET from 1st cycle so they r day 2 embryos and one fresh transfer with a 5AA

Such a shame that it wasn't third (or first or second!!) time lucky, but great that you still have some frosties. As for when enough is enough, I guess only you know that. The BFNs must be draining but I imagine it would be hard to draw a line under it all while there are still those potentials there in the freezer. Best of luck hon xxx

I came across this study saying it often takes a lot more cycles before success with IVF. Obviously it’s a very personal decision, I’ve had 2 BFNs and Frosties, you think can I keep going through this but then I also think can I leave them in the freezer??xx

Thats my trouble their is always that WHAT IF...

Its hard but its the heartache and we have planned to adopt and i know that can take up 2 a year

I agree, we’ve said we’ll keep going for another year and then look into adoption it’s defo helped having a plan. If you don’t mind me asking, why did you have another fresh cycle with Frosties in the freezer? Was that your call or clinics?xx

It was clinic call.. as my frosties r all frozen at day 2.. so dont really know the quality of them.

Why not take a break for a little while. Go on holiday, have some fun with your partner then make a decision. The Frosties can wait. We had a break and came back to it. I feel so refreshed and less overwhelmed now.

We took a big break after loosing the twins from a natural pregnancy.. im 32 this yr and hubby is 40 xx

I was just going to ask the same xx the trouble is i know they grade embryos but that really doesnt mean anything

I had an unsuccessful fresh transfer, them went on to have a successful FET! The FET was a lot less stressful as I had an unmedicated cycle too.
