When can you start a second cycle of ivf after first cycle fails.

I was informed by my clinic yesterday it would be at least 3 months but I’m not sure is that just their procedures X

Due to my experience, I can say that you can start 2nd cycle not less than in two-three months. I had many IVF and ICSI attempts and time between cycles was different. I had three programmes with 2-3 cycles and a year-break.

Hi sugasuga, I was advised by my clinic (overseas) that I could go again in 2-3 months, I think it depends also on when you are emotionally and financially ready. My GP said she had a patient who went straight in for a second round. But I feel for me I’d like to wait a couple of months to focus on diet and exercise to get as healthy and strong as possible before going for round 2. Lots of luck with whatever you decide x
