Article worth a read! Thankful to all these doctors making history.

———-

Fertility doctors in Greece and Spain say they have produced a baby from three people in order to overcome a woman's infertility.

The doctors say they are "making medical history" which could help infertile couples around the world.

Thanks for sharing the article. About the ethics, before i suffered from infertility and had to use donor eggs, I used to judge people who sought alternatives such as donor eggs or even ivf thinking about all those embryos that could be left unused should couples be successful on first try. Having gone through my own trials and tribulations now I am more compassionate and understanding of men and women who will do anything in their power to have a child. Let those who want to judge others taking the moral high ground about having a 3 parent baby do it. Having suffered the pain, shame and mental and psychological trauma of infertility, I say if this gives an infertile couple a chance to get a baby that is healthy and happy why not.
