Hello. I'm new here(just signed up)Started my Buserelin shots yesterday(twice a day) and my FSH(menopur shots)today.Havent noticed the side effects yet but have read how awful they can be.The experience is exciting and daunting at the same time. Hope it ends well.

Hi Mshopeful. Everyone's experience is different, but most have a few side effects. You're up and running now, so just wanted to wish you well with it all, and of course for success. Diane

Thank you Diane? Will have my first post medication scan next week. Hope the FSH is working so I can reduce the dose or be asked to stop medication(wishful thinking). Thanks once again.

Hi Mshopeful. Just a little trick to try with your injections. Try an ice cube on the "spot" for a few minutes before injecting to numb the area. Good luck! Diane

Hi and welcome! This is a great place for asking questions as everyone is so supportive and helpful in sharing their experiences. Everyone is different but I really worried about the hormones putting me on an emotional roller coaster. I was actually fine with the buserilin and menopur.... If anything I felt more stable than I normally would do in the month around that time 😂 You have down days but I think that's more because of this process being a hard one to go through as it's each hurdle at a time. I think the hardest part is 1 not knowing why you can't get pregnant and 2 the acceptance that you need a little bit of help in the fertility dept. Good luck with your cycle! 🍀🍀🍀🙏🏻 xxx

1Boo. Thanks dear. I think my problem now is the Menopur shots cause they are really a pain to mix,get into the syringe and very uncomfortable to administer. Hope my mindset stays this positive come what may🙏

Hi Mshopeful! Good luck with your journey, I was lucky and had very few side effects with the meds. Headaches and tiredness but that was it. Hope everything goes well for you x x x

MommaBear16 thanks for the kind words. I think my reaction to them(which I noticed today) is a very slight feeling of vertigo. I hope the medication is working.

Welcome and good luck for your cycle! I didn't have many side effects except for headaches and feeling slightly hot occasionally. It is different for everyone and just because you aren't getting side effects doesn't mean the medication isn't working X
