Single and trying again

Are there many people on here who are single? I'm just getting over my first failed cycle and could potentially try again end of June with donor eggs, but I feel like I've been hit with a ton of bricks physic ally and emotionally, and people are trying to help but I'm really low. So now I'm torn about the second cycle. I have three frozen embryos.

I think single or not, the first failed cycle really hurts and hits all the buttons: is this meant to be? Is it right for me? Should I carry on? I imagine being single you carry all of these questions on your own but I wanted you to know that even in a relationship it often feels like a journey done alone, and difficult on every relationship. I guess you need to speak to someone, eventhough you may feel they don’t understand. You could try coaching or counselling. It’s an emotional journey and talking though all that goes in your mind is helpful to bring clarity on your next steps.

Thanks that's really helpful. I can imagine it's still very hard whether you're a couple or single. I think it really hit home, even just getting home after the transfer and realising couldn't lift stuff hoover. I was really un prepared. Anyway I think I would regret not trying again and have learnt a lot from this cycle.

I am so sorry to read about your failed cycle. I can understand how it would have felt like! I have been in a similar situation. I think you should go forward to the second cycle positively. Dont stress a lot it's not good for you. I hope everything goes well. Sending baby dust your way. Good luck!
