Hi! after taking a year off from having my first cycle, 1 fresh transfer and 2 frozen, i was devastated that it did not work. I finally decided to give it a go again. Hoping to start back IVF in November, anyone else starting at the beginning of November?.

hop36- so sorry to hear the other cycles were unsuccessful- has your consultant indicated why this is? Sometimes they just don't know and its just pot luck.
Have you had your NK tested at all? I have seen that test is recommended for IVF implantation failure and recurrent miscarriages. It costs around £300 mark- but definitely worth looking at- it may help you get a positive.
I had the NK blood test in July- my levels are 12%- normal range is under 10%- its not massively high and my consultant says as its under 15% it shouldn't prevent me conceiving. But he did say once I'm pregnant hell put me on 10mg of prednisolone in the early weeks. I am glad that I had the test done. My consultant indicated the biopsy is the better test- as that is the source to be concerned over. All clinics differ- might be best asking your clinic.
All the best with your upcoming IVF cycle x
Hi! Jess1981, My consultant cannot see why it not happening. I had 17 embryos, 5 results in blastocyst, three transfer. the last one i transfer, shows that it was about to hatched, yet it did not worked. She said it should be a matter of time, god knows i hope. I had the NK biopsy test, it was about £600.00 and a whole list of other test. All came back fine. My checks shows that me and my hubby is very fertile for our age but it just have not happened. Thanks! and good luck to you to.
Hi, dear! I'm so terribly sorry for your failures. Had had them enough too. 3 years ago I was diagnosed on grade 4 endo. 2 years TTC brought us no success. Besides dh has low count and motility of sperm. Well, we did make some silly decisions and tried 1 round IUI and ICSI. But these procedures turned to be absolutely helpless for us. Though endo pain bothered me more and more. Painful intercourses were driving me mad. We got to know about our clinic on eviternity.org International patient coordinator. They offered free consultations so we made them a go. This way we travelled to Ukraine where passed our ivf with donor eggs.
I should say it is important to keep on moving. And I'm so proud of ladies taking short/long breaks but going straightly to their aim. I'll be praying for you XX
Hi! thank you so much for your thoughts and prayer. All the best to you too.
