Hiya lovely ladies ....i hope you are all keeping sane and well during our 6th week of lockdown💞💞
We had our first ivf cycle bfn in Feb. At the time we was pretty gutted as we thought having two transfered there was a chance one would implant.
We managed to have our review and it was put down to possible defects in the embryo and we would go to long protocal rather then short on our next round then. Unfortunately lockdown happened and all new treatments are on hold so I feeling the frustration many of you loves in similar position. Stay strong 😘
We are now taking impryl DH and me infolic. I throughly recommend infolic as my periods have been lighter since and we hope they improve our chances. Who knows hey.
After feeling like a failure we have been trying naturally but its not easy when my cycle is all over the place. I've been between 23-25 days cycle since the failure. I've always had a short cycle so wonder if I've been getting my ovulation wrong at day 11-12.
Anyone else on short cycle ? and tips to make natural fun again would be appreciated xx
Hi Jaten. Im sorry your round didnt work. What we wouldnt give for something to work for a change right x
Pretty much same situation. Second month after CP and cycles all over the place. CM all over the place and cramping all over the place haha. I liked the short protocol because i have heard that is as closer mimicking your own cycle (timelines that is).
Doing research in this lockdown basically thought me improve quality as so much of the success depends on that. Join the fertility yoga offered here or if you already have a exercise routine, add some women friendly exercises to it.
Re fun, we sometimes take a day off from ttc (but not really) and enjoy a cider or two and eat our favourite non heathy food. My intention is not to look back after a few years (baby or no baby) and think why did we not enjoy life because god knows how long infertility will last.
Stay safe ivf sister xx

Loving your approach to it all, yeh saw a few bits on the fertility yoga I tried a few on you tube defintly felt more relaxed after. Like the idea of non ttc days too...its mental how much it consumes us even when we don't want to think about.
I hope it gets easier for the both of us xx
I used to have a short cycle. The time i got pregnant but sadly miscarried i was ovulating between day 10-11, I say this because the month i got pregnant i had my hsg and the doctor could see i was about to ovulate. Since doing accupuncture my periods are now 27 to 28 days. Sadly still trying after a failed cycle in Feb.

oh so sorry to hear about your miscarriage 😪 piecing everything back together and moving on it must be the hardest. Accupunture yes I heard about it . How did you find it? I did a session of reflexology before the lockdown. It helped after intially getting upset infront of the reflexologist and this was before she touched my feet😅. Anything to help ease the process sounds a good idea in the meantime stay strong lovie xx

Thank you Jaten. Ive heard good things about reflexology, keep going once we get back our normality. I see my acupuncturist in Harley street, shes there once every 2 weeks but mostly based in Manchester I believe. I can PM you her details.
Hi Jaten, so sorry to hear your first round was unsuccessful, and now having to wait for the next. We were on the down reg of first round when this started so rough times for all.
My cycle is between 22 and 26 days but when between 23-25 I get a positive ovulation test on day 12-14. My temperature always goes up the day after so find that helpful to know when my window has finished.
One advantage of us both working at home is having more time for nakedness! I recommend spontaneous lunchtime fun but even then I still am thinking about dates after. This process unfortunately is all consuming.
Can I ask if you were given a choice about 2 embryos transfered and if so what made you go for 2 over 1?
Hope you hear good news soon about second round. Take care x
