I have heard of it. It’s to do with your pituitary gland. Is this since your hospital visit? X

Hi Mrsplant. Cushings Disease is a disease of the pituitary gland in the brain. You will have blood tests and perhaps an MRI scan of your head to identify whether your pituitary gland has a small growth on it. It is usually treated with medication, but occasionally the growth needs to be removed. This is usually accessed through your nose, so no visible incision is noticed. Your prolactin levels would need to be extremely high for this to happen. Hope the tests are soon done and the problem resolved. Diane
