Writing my shopping list to include the old favourite 🍍 of course and Brazil nuts. I have read on here of women drinking pomegranate juice. Mixed info online, some say best before transfer, any advice ? This is my 5th transfer, am an old timer but open to new suggestions. In past have kept feet warm, ate McDonalds straight after, pineapple and Brazil nuts for 5 days and generally rested first couple days then carried on normal. Difficult now with toddler who likes to get piggy backs, am sure this will do no harm?
This is my first time doing accupuncture and have a session before and after transfer. It can only help right 😀
Although I have abstained completely from caffeine and alcohol for months, am thinking of having a glass of wine the evening before. Read somewhere it helps relax the uterus....I get no meds day of transfer so thinking may be worth a go..... any thoughts ?

Honestly I didn’t do any of those things this time around. I’d just had enough of doing everything by the book and still getting nowhere. I actually think my more relaxed attitude to things helped. I drink a little caffeine every day too. Even pregnant women can have up to 200mg a day. Sometimes I think it’s down to pure luck whether it works or not. Enjoy your glass of wine and don’t beat yourself up too much xx
I totally get that 👍 Thanks and a huge congratulations to you, just read your profile and over the moon you finally have your beautiful baby girl growing nicely. You deserve it mamma ❤️
I had acupuncture, ate pineapple core and a handful of Brazil nuts each day. To be honest the most significant difference between my successful and unsuccessful transfer was that I didn't over think things.
With my successful transfer I kept busy, I went back to work (but tried not to be too physical - I work with children), saw friends, enjoyed myself and laughed. This was very different to my first, unsuccessful transfer, when I took the two weeks off, giving me way too much time to think, and worry and doubt.
I'd advise you to keep a diary. I used one with my successful transfer and it helped me cope with any doubts and negative thoughts. It has also been lovely to read back since having my baby and filling in the diary about how things are now.
Wishing you all the best. Hope the two weeks go quickly!!!
Thank you that is so helpful, funnily enough I have already started keeping a Diary as it helps to write down how am feeling. I am defo going to keep busy and fairly active and positive 🤞🏼
