teach and scan this morning! go ahead to start buserlin in morning then just recieved phone call saying i cant yet as scan showed cyst.

had enough of my body making things harder for me. went for scan showed a cyst on left side. nurse asked me to take seat in waiting area as a nurse might want to speak to me. wait ten min to be told its fine no problems wont affect anything. go home.

just recieved phone call saying someone else has looked at it and now its got to be discussed with the doctors in there meeting tomorrow on wether it can start or not or wether i have to wait til march period to start. but they will phone tomorrow.

just burst in to tears because i dont want another cyst ive had them removed 3 times in last 6 years. all i want is to be able to start ivf cycle 2 not all this again. sorry just needed to get it off my chest. back in work tomorrow so they will have to leave a voicemail on my phone as i cant have it with me.

Hunny I'm so sorry to be reading this, I feel your pain because when I had my ivf in December last year yeh same thing happened to me. A cyst doubled in size for me within a week and they thought it was cancerous. However a blood test showed that it was ok and wasn't a hormone cyst either so I was allowed to start stimming. I down regulated for 4 weeks. Please don't feel like your alone, I have endometriosis so I always get cyst and hate them. I have had two operations to get rid of them. After my failed cycle I had a follow up appointment and they said if I still have the cyst in my next cycle they can aspirate it, therefore it's like what they do when collecting your eyes so won't be another operation. Hope it works out zx

i dont get why i got worked uo im used to getting them think its more the excitment of starting round two and then bang you might not. just 6 years worth off operations im worried i might have to have another and the more times they remove them the more they take bits of my ovaries to. hoping its not as big as they think. more just the 24 hour wait and the feeling of being discussed in a meeting.

this process has definately been a long one and hard sometimes.Think im just feeling it abit more this afternoon. it could all hopefully end up not a problem and to carry on as set out. fingers crossed.

I just read what I wrote and I meant to say they aspirate your eggs not eyes!!! Lol. Hopefully your clinic can aspirate your cyst to, and you won't need another operation. My cyst was 6cm!! I don't know what it is now but I always feel a pulling pain especially during ovulation. Hoping to start cycle 2 in a few months time. Please keep me updated xxx

Hi kist12. So sorry to read this, as you obviously have had lots of cyst issues in the past. I'm just hoping that it is a simple cyst that can easily be drained then you can get cracking on the buserelin. A total nightmare for you, but we can't risk it getting to large when you get to stimulation. You feel free to have a rant, and I do hope is sorted very soon. Thinking of you. Diane

well they phoned this afternoon. they said i can start the buserlin tonightvand then continue in morning and when i go for first lot of bloods they will do another scan. if its gone bigger then it will be cancelled the rest of cycle but it doesnt mean that my funded round is gone just means i will start it once they sort the cyst. if its same size they may continue me on to stimulation ones but they wont know either until this next scan in two week. so just have to wait and see. just felt like it was one step forward more back. but more positive now.
