I normally have my “routine” down to a T but as it’s the weekend I work up little later and did it 30 minutes after I normally would.... but my concern is, I use the back passage and I then required a motion 15 minutes later (I really couldn’t hold it any longer) ... my question is, this happened once before and I read it normally takes 30 minutes to absorb so I put another in but then I starting bleeding (about 2 weeks ago now) so unsure if this is best or not?
I am currently 6 weeks and having my scan is booked for 7.5 weeks with the clinic. Also, my clinic has declined doing any blood work as they said it’s not needed so don’t know my beta or progesterone levels! I also noted other people are on injections and pessarys more frequently than me. So can you have too much progesterone??
Do you think i should put another one in (or even 1/2) or would this do more harm than good?

I’d put another in, it won’t do any harm. My gynaecologist said to always wait to insert if you know for certain you’re going to have a bowel movement so for her to say that, I’d take it that it’s not absorbed in time.
I’m normally have a routine (wake up 6:30am, gone by 7am and then I do it) but as I woke up late I was worried doing to too late so did it without “waiting” for my motion. I have decided to put another in. Thank you for your quick response. 😊
Hi, if it was me I would put another in just to be on the safe side. If it was 15 mins after it won't quite have absorbed. I don't believe it would do you any harm x
Not sure about an extra dose, but for future, I put my alarm on for 6am and 10pm to make sure that I dont miss mine. Is there any reason you cant take via front passage?x
I have my alarm set for 7am and 7pm, but I must have slept through it. Still done it (first one, before 7:30am). I find the front is very messy with the wax that comes out so trying the back.
