It’s been a while since I’ve been on here but I’m really needing some advice!
Since I was last on we had our 1st Ivf cycle but unfortunately we only got 2 eggs. Both eggs fertilised but unfortunately no bfp.
The next month i fell pregnant naturally which totally blew my mind! Anyways that pregnancy didn’t grow so we ended up losing the baby after 9wks. Which was heart breaking.
My dilemma now is due to the fact we only got 2 eggs the nhs will not fund any more treatment for us so it’ll now need to be private.
I’m really struggling with what to do because we will only be able to afford one shot at this so do I try with my own eggs or go down donor egg route. I’m so upset at the fact I’ll not have my own baby but at same time I know donor egg will have a better chance at having a baby!!
Please help!

Hi, Am sorry to hear what you have been through, of course it is a tough decision and I would not want to guide you in anyway, I can just tell you my story that we have just had IVF first time with donor eggs and have got pregnant - still really early though. maybe go along to one of the fertility shows and speak to a few experts there. Hope this helps and sending lots of positive love your way. xxx
We went last night and the obvious signs are to go down the donor route! But I’m just struggling a bit. Thank you so much for your reply and congrats on your pregnancy that’s such lovely news. How far along are you?
We are only 4 weeks. Very nervous as had 3 natural pregnancies but none of them made it so hopefully ED will make the difference. Honestly wish you all the success and if I can help at all am here x ❤️
