FET - need your help

Hi everyone

I need some advice and help really

I started my ivf journey this time last year. Unfortunately i couldn’t continue with the transfer after blast because they thought they saw a polyp . The consultant decided it would be best to freeze embryos (11 eggs were collected , 9 fert , 8 made blast and are strong embs) . Cutting a long story short it wasn’t until July that I got to see a consultant to “remove the polyp”. When they did there wasn’t a polyp to be found !!!!!! THEN I had to wait another 2 months before I could have my smear test and didn’t get my results till Nov. Really felt like a waste of a year.

I’m going to resume treatment again in March and I was wanting to know if anyone had any advice on FET and if there is anything I can to to make this as successful as poss. I have an 8year son who has Celebral Palsy due to medical neg and I just really want this to work

Any foods, treatments, do’s / dont’s etc will be greatly appriciated xx

What a shame it's taken so long, but worth waiting for in the end. You're in a really good position with so many frosties but the process is always nerve wracking, I know. My advice would be to be generally healthy, eating and sleeping well, take it easy after transfer, but don't be sedentary, and organize plenty of distractions during the 2 week wait as the suspense will drive you mad. I found the FET much less stress on the body than a fresh transfer! I think it’s mostly luck so my advice is do what feels right for you. Eat well, drink plenty of water, avoid stress. I went to work after transfer but I wish I’d taken the 2ww off because I didn’t mentally feel up to work. Good luck and hopefully be worth the wait xx
