It’s been such an emotional day!

Had egg collection this morning.... bit if an experience but got through it! 9 eggs were collected and a call from the embryologist this afternoon to say 7 were mature 😊😊

Then I put down the phone and cried!!!! It’s just so unbelievable that something is growing away from me!

I think it hit home to my husband to!

So we wait for the next few days for the phone calls. In the meantime, I’m relaxing and loving my hot water bottle, though at the moment in a lot less pain than I have been over these past few days. Let’s hope it continues!

Aww it’s a really full on and emotional day. It does feel odd to go from being chock full of eggs to suddenly empty. But don’t worry they are in very safe hands and 7 mature is fantastic 😀🙌 Good luck for the call in the morning xx

Hey! I had my EC today too, and also got 9 eggs! No idea how many mature yet though. Look after yourself, drink lots of water/ coconut water/ electrolytes, and fingers crossed for our calls tomorrow. Sleep well xxx
