Advice needed 🥴

Hi all

I’ve been a little quiet in here following my MC last year but am due to start my 2nd fresh cycle of icsi, so I finished the pill yesterday and am due to start buserelin injections today. My husband and I decided to do the injections at night this time round as on the 1st round hubby was doing the injections before he left for work at 6am and it was cause unnecessary stress as am not a morning person and was very grumpy but I’ve just looked at my sheet from the hospital and it says administer in the morning 🤦‍♀️😳

Am positive on my first round they said I can inject at any time of the day as long as I stick to the same time each day.

So what time of day does everyone else do their injections and I have mucked up?

Oh no! 🙈 I’d call the clinic and double check to be sure. I did my injections in the early evening for menopur, and I had my suppressant/down reg (can’t remember it’s name) which had to be in the morning. Depends on the protocol & the exact drugs I think x

Thanks for the reply but unfortunately my clinic is closed now 😳 am positive they told me the last time to take it when it was convenient for us but now am second guessing myself xx

I'm sorry can't offer any advice as I think it depends on your treatment plan,I know when I did my first round with OE I was given specific times but can't for the life of me remember what times they were!! X

Thanks, am normally really organised with all this stuff but think I will go ahead with the injection tonight and try get someone at the clinic to clarify tomorrow xx

Hi there, I also had to take my down reg injection in the morning and stimms in the evening.

It all gets so confusing over what meds to take and when...arghhh 😂😂💕 xx

I had to do my Buserelin between 6 and 8 every evening and then stims at same time as well x

Aww thanks daisy this has put my mind at ease a bit. I will go ahead with the injection tonight and hopefully get it clarified from the clinic tomorrow xx

Hello I just checked my plan. It has a schedule of my drugs to take by date and it has Buscelain in the PM. I do dexamethosome in the AM. Maybe check with clinic if you can. X

I don’t know how to attach my plan to this so you can see but it defo says Buscerlain at PM... I have it all crossed this is a successful cycle! I just need some good news...

Hi

Ive been on buserelin 10 days now. I inject at 8pm every night. My clinic instructed I injected all my meds throughout my cycle in the evening so that if any doses change due to blood results then they can be changed that day for that evenings injection. I was never told between 6-8pm but chose 8pm due to working hrs. Its better to get clarification from your clinic and take their advise due to differences in protocols etc.
