After a failed ICSI cycle we have one embryo frozen. I was just wondering what the process is for a frozen transfer compared to what I have just been through.x

The fet process I went through was much simpler than a fresh cycle. On cd 2 I started taking Progynova (4 pills per day) and a few days later, I think, I also took 2 cyclogest pessaries per day. Added to this was 1 aspirin and 1 folic acid. No injections! Easy!

Depends if it's medicated or not. I am doing a medicated ( it's all my clinic do) I down reg for over a month with synarel then prognava for 2.5 weeks then transfer. No injections tho an less scans, bloods etc.

I had a similar experience to Tomorrow_1 until my lining was at a thick enough level for transfer (I was on 5 progynova (estradiol) per day to increase my lining) then added progesterone 6 days before transfer date. However I know some of the hospitals like you to down regulate first (the nasal spray or buserelin injections like you do with a fresh cycle), have a baseline scan and start meds.....Im in Scotland too and my friend had to do this. However I have to say that not having to do egg collection is so much easier on the body.xx
