TSH levels in pregnancy following FET (trigger warning BFP mentioned)

Hi, I haven’t posted on here since my FET in August last year which ended in a chemical pregnancy.

I have gone through another FET and my fertility doctor has been much more willing to test my TSH regularly. We tested just before transfer and my TSH had shot up to just over 6. He advised to increase my dose of thyroxine from 125-150mg.

I have just tested 10 days past transfer and now have a TSH of 8.19! I have also just got a BFP. It’s Friday now so I can’t get in touch with my doctor so will just increase my dose.

I feel like this could be another cycle doomed to failure 😕. Does anyone else have experience of having a high TSH after a BFP and having a healthy pregnancy? Or any other advice?

Thanks in advance

You can self medicate by 25 until you can see your gp

I did that when I got a bfp over the Easter bank holiday when my gp was closed for almost a week. When I finally got there, he said I had done the right thing.

👍

I was referred to an endo by the fertility specialist so didn’t have to fight the gp

I’m sure all will be fine xxx

Congrats xxx
