8dp3dt think it's all over 😢

Hiya,

Well I'm 8dp3dt as said in title. Had 2 embryos transferred on the 17th Jan, they weren't the best quality unfortunately. Been having quite a bit of cramping today and shooting pain in my vagina / cervix area. It's my second 2ww. Last icsi failed in August. Can't help but feel this is all over. I've been really calm and preparing myself for the worst, but now I just feel sad. I feel like pmt has kicked in tonight and feeling moody / angry. Didn't want to bother my mum with this, and my hubby is just saying not to worry x x

Hi hun, My test day it next tuseday to, I had a 5/6 day transfer that had started to hatch, I only had 1 put back, iv been having sharp pain an cramps since 2dpt, I'm so nervous to test as I dnt want to see another bfn, as my last failed in oct. Fingers crossed for you, ur not out till at shows, off isn't easy is it, I to am on 2x 400 cyclogest and estradio 3x a day, l just take it easy an relax 😀 x

Hi lovely. Sorry to hear you're struggling today, it must be that sort of time because I'm finding it really tough today too, had a day 5 transfer 2 days after you so we're at the same stage. I feel really crap today, bloated and crampy and just miserable ☹️ I'm sure it's just the cyclogest messing with my digestive system but I'm struggling to keep any positivity. I know it really is too early to tell but it's so hard. Just wanted to let you know you're not alone feeling ribbish, but there is still hope. All the cramping you are getting could easily just be the meds and everything I've read is that they totally mess you up emotionally as well. Sorry your day isn't great too. I've just taken some more paracetamol, hope they will help. Just had an upset stomach too, I suffer with IBS, that can flare up when my period is due. Take care x x

Hopefully the paracetamol will help. Are you on cyclogest? Must be horrendous combined with IBS, you poor thing 😟 I'm swinging between constipation and the opposite (sorry tmi!) so I can only imagine what it must be like for you, and there is every chance it is that causing all your pain and stomach upset. Hope you have a good night's sleep x

Yes I'm on 2 x 400mg cyclogest tabs a day. They caused cramps last time. I've been very regular recently, think my dinner upset my stomach tonight tho. Just sat on sofa now watching tv x

Hang on in there sweetie! I know how hard it is, I'm in the 2ww too and it drives us crazy especially after a failure....this is my 5th transfer but it's not over till it's over!!xxx

Hello! I’m just wondering if the shooting pains you are experiencing are in fact implantation pains? I had shooting pains on the day of transfer and am now 33 weeks

pregnant. Hang on in there you never know it might be good news! Good luck!

With both of my successful transfers I was adamant my period was starting as I had all the usual period style cramping/pains etc! Keep positive lovely xxx

I've had major AF cramps on and off since I started the progesterone, even before I had my transfer. It's hard not take these things as bad signs, but the meds really do mess up everything, ur def not out yet xo

You're about halfway through and I think everyone falls into despair at around that time - it's so hard to stay positive but honestly your symptoms can go either way and that's what makes it so hard. Just hang on in there, you're definitely not out yet. Best of luck

I was the same I was convinced it had failed, I had terrible cramping enough to take a mild painkiller and red blood spotting. So I just assumed the worst that it was another failed cycle. Especially as when it happened it was 4 days from test day so I thought it was far too late for implantation. However I was wrong and on official test day I had my bfp and now I have my 6 month old son 😍. I don’t want to give false hope in case it’s not the same situation as mine. However, I also don’t want you to despair cause sometimes implantation can be so much like the start of your period it’s so hard to differentiate between them xx

Hello. How are you feeling now? I have just come out of my 2WW - my transfer was on the 14th - a 5 day hatching blastocyst top quality and it was a big fat negative. I know myself super well. And the first 3 days after the transfer days were awful. I had pains in lower pelvis, I wasn’t moving around quite comfortably as I would normally and I just knew it was over. The thing is everyone is quite different so some woman may feel every symptoms under the sun and others nothing. It’s hard to tell but what I did do to ease in anxiety is after those hideous 3 days. I thought to myself in a normal cycle. If we had been trying to conceive naturally I would not have known what was happening nor would I have cared. I would have just done a test whenever I realised I was late. We only symptom watch because we have a platform to compare notes etc. Try and put yourself in a positive space. We are all so different. You know your body best and you were given an OTD so only nurture and take care of yourself until then and be kind to yourself - As far as we all concerned you are PUPO.

So sorry you got a negative. It's so hard isn't it. I'm just thinking it's going to go wrong mainly for self preservation. This is our last go, so I'm trying to prepare myself for the worst. I hope you get your family soon x x

Hang on in there! It isn’t over yet. Cramping can be a good sign, In fact I had some about 7 days post transfer and I had also convinced myself it was over but it wasn’t! Stay strong x

Hi! I am on the same journey as you, today is 9dp3dt of 2 embryos, test day on Tuesday, my 2nd cycle too. Yesterday was really hard for me too. Lots of PMT like symptoms, I was scared every time I wiped that there would be blood but none so far... Feeling similar today but at least it is the weekend and DH is around to keep me sane. Really hope that we have good news on Tuesday and that these are just symptoms of the meds and growing embryos. Sending you and everyone else on the 2ww lots of love xxx

Good luck for test day!! I've got a bad cold and cough now so that's distracting me. Still having some cramps. I have to wait till Thursday, very clinic seems to do things differently. Try and have a calm relaxing weekend x x

I’m only 4dp5dt and feel your pain. I’ve been cramping since day 1 and tonight there was light red blood on wiping and my boobs aren’t as sore. I’m like you convinced it’s game over ands it’s my period. Trying to be positive but just want to curl up and feel sorry for myself.xx

Fingers crossed the blood was from implantation. This is the worst part waiting to see if it's all worked, analysing every little thing. Good luck x x
