We are starting our second cycle at the end of Feb. Managed to book an appoinment with a fertility counsellor and will be keeping up with it.
We have been before on our 1st cycle and the counsellor understood the whole IVF process and gave us good techniques to deal with it all.
One of the tips I found useful was that if you are feeling down/emotional etc put a time limit on it. If you let it carry on, you will feel like this for days. If you put a time limit on it e.g. half a day, you can get past it, be positive and say to yourself thats it, I am moving on from feeling like this.
This has helped me. The counselling is definitely worth trying.
