Can anyone recommend a fertility specific Councillor? I would really like to talk it all through with someone before it takes over my life. Our clinic offers counselling but I'd actually rather speak to someone not related to them.
Have any of you spoken to someone about your fertility journey and has it helped?

I did a lot of googling. Didn’t want to prescribe to a specific therapy/therapist which is why I went for a psychologist who draws on multiple approaches 😊
Hello. For a fertility specific counsellor you could try the BICA (British Infertility Counselling Association) website. For more general counselling you can search for a counsellor on the websites of the BACP and UKCP. I have found counselling really helpful over the years and hope it works for you. It’s important to find a therapist that’s right for you so don’t worry about trying out a few until you find the right person.Xx
Hi Millbanks. You could have a look at the "British Infertility Counselling Association". They are a charity that deals only with all fertility issues and relationships while going through investigations and treatment. There is a charge, but do have a look at bica.net
