Miscarriage in October still getting pregnancy symptoms???

Hi never posted on here before been following people’s journeys💖.

Been trying to conceive since May came of my tamoxifen I’ve been on for 4 and a half years from having breast cancer when I was 31 to cut a long story short I got court in October was over the moon as my egg count is on the lower side 10.7 but unfortunately miscarried around 5 weeks 😢.I’m still getting pregnancy symptoms feeling sick in the morning smells are making he feel sick and funny taste in my mouth I’ve had 2 periods since I’m regular each month.Has anybody else had this I’m so confused and worried 🤔.

I have no experience of this lovely, my symptoms disappeared as soon as I started to miscarry. Just wanted to say sorry for your loss and maybe suggest you mention your symptoms to your GP, just to put your mind at rest? x

It may be worth arranging either for bloods to check your hcg or to ask for a scan, as it maybe you still have a little bit of ‘retained tissue’ which can carry on processing hcg. Have you done a pregnancy test? Don’t mean to scar in anyway but this is what happened to me on my last MMC and at a scan 2months later they saw ‘something’ but it passed luckily with that cycle xx

Are your tests negative now? It’s probably worth getting a scan if they are not just to be sure xx

Yes there are negative tested a few times since miscarriage Xxx

That’s a good sign as it means there’s unlikely to be anything left. Hope you get some answers from your doctor x

You should really ask for a scan. As Baby2016 it could be a case of retained products. I had this issue undiagnosed for several months after a miscarriage. I had irregular bleeding/periods and terrible bloating. Once I had the scan I had a hyscopathy to sort everything out. Physically felt so much better after!
