So I had my FET blood test yesterday morning at 10dp3dt and it was negative. During the whole wait I didn’t have any symptoms or side effects at all but since the test I’ve noticed that my boobs are getting really sore and I’m super tired. I know it’s highly unlikely but now I’m getting worried about it potentially being late implantation and since I’m stopping all hormone support there will be no chance of it sticking. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Or had late implantation not picked up on a blood test at this point? I’m ok if it’s negative I just hate feeling this uncertainty and wish my body would just tell me one story!

Oh that's quite early for a 3 day embryo I would have said! I didnt get a positive test on FRER until 12dp5dt and on day 14 my bhCG was only 43....it continued to rise afterwards but we lost it at 6 wks. The drugs can unfortunately mimic pregnancy symptoms however you may just have a late implanter! Have the clinic not suggested repeating?xx
Thanks so much for your quick reply! And I’m so sorry to hear you lost yours at 6 weeks.
The test date being early is exactly what I was worried about. The clinic told me to stop taking progesterone and estrogen and just come in on my next cycle so I’ve stopped taking everything now. And I’m assuming that without the hormones there will be no chance of survival if it was late right? It’s just weird because I had no symptoms from the drugs until now, but maybe it’s symptoms from stopping them 🤷🏻♀️
Thank you! I couldnt honestly say whether the feeling that you are having are still from the drugs or natural. How long ago did you stop them, could you restart them if you have enough and retest in a few days for your own peace of mind? Althernatively give the clinic a call again and explain your fears.xx
I called the clinic and they said that if it was even the slightest bit it would have shown up in the blood. So I’m choosing not to worry about it. Thanks so much for the advice
I'm so sorry for your BFN 💔 they are never easy. I had a blood test at 10p5dt so I guess 2 days before you technically. My beta was 270. I did miscarry at 11 weeks unfortunately 😢 But technically even if you had a very small amount it would have showed up in your blood test. You could ask for another test if you wanted to ease your mind but if it is negative which it sounds like I'm very sorry. This whole journey can be cruel and unfair 🙁💕 xxx
I’m so sorry for your loss Niki. And thank you for the advice and comfort. What you said makes sense and the clinic said the same thing to me. Wishing you all the best xx
It does sound a bit early. It’s hard getting a negative and symptoms can be unreliable. You could do a home test in a few days to confirm. It can happen - I know someone who took a home test and got a negative and later found that she was 8 weeks pregnant but blood tests tend to be more reliable x
Hi, I had a similar situation. My test was done 11dp3dt and it was negative. After the devastation I panicked a lot that the test was too early. I dont like thinking 'what if' so I called the clinic back. They reassured me that it wasnt too early to test (they have a range of hcg levels they're looking for) and at that stage they would have seen something (even if on the low side) but mine was definitely negative. I trusted the clinic and stopped my meds. Sounds like your clinic gave you similar advice to mine so that's really reassuring. I'm sorry you had a negative result too.
Thanks so much for sharing your story. It makes me feel less alone in this, and reassured that I can let it go. I’m sorry about your negative result as well. If you don’t mind me asking, how long after stopping all the meds did did you get your period. I’m wondering what to expect here.
No problem, glad its perhaps helped a little to reassure you. I have decided that I just need to put my trust in my clinic as they are experts. I really struggled with this throughout my first cycle when things didnt go quite to plan at times but it all turned out well in the end and they really did know what they were doing. It's really difficult though. Once I stopped my meds I got my period after 3 days, the clinic said it could take up to a week to come.
You’re totally right about putting your trust in the clinic. It’s just so hard with google at your finger tips. I end up having so my questions haha. Thanks for letting me know. Hope mine comes soon.
Haha I know what you mean. I did this a lot during my first cycle - I always seemed to think of all the questions after I'd left the clinic too and then started to panic! Got an FET coming up soon and going to try and be more chilled about it all. Hope yours come soon too.
