However just I’ve been toilet for number 2 and now I’m in really bad pain. Stomach cramps, my stomach feels on fire and really bloated worse than it’s been.
I’m trying lie down as sitting up really hurts.
When I’d finished on toilet I had some brown discharge when I wiped ... is this normal?
Not started pessaries yet they start in morning.
Thanks for any help ladies xxx

After my first collection I got really bad pains and it was where they had been manipulating my insides to try and get to my ovaries - they were worse on day 2 and when I sat upright I felt like I had a carving knife going up through my body.
Do you know if they struggled a bit to find your ovaries?
Brown spotting is normal - i've had that both times. and TMI but because our bodies are on hyper ovulation mode (not a technical term) you often have more CM than normal so the brown spotting seems to be more than it often is.. its just spread out a lot as there is more CM there.
if you are worried then do call your clinic for reassurance xx
I am exactly the same = they often couldn't find my left ovary on scans and in the first EC they apparently had two nurses pushing down full force on my tum to try and move my bowel and womb out of the way! if they have done anything similar that would explain the pain.. I ended up having a 2 day transfer that cycle and have looked in my diary and day 2 was the worse, day 3 was uncomfortable but day 4 I was pretty much back to normal. but I managed Ikea on a Saturday on day 3 so uncomfortable was clearly bearable 😂 good luck xx
Thank you for your advice it truly has helped. It’s going off slightly now. I think it’s because I went toilet. Maybe they have pressed my bowels a lot lol xx
My stomach was really messed up for a couple of days after EC because of the anaesthetic. I got pain when I ate anything for 2 days after. Don't panic, drink plenty of water and stick to light foods, nothing too rich/fatty/spicy
It has started after food this evening but not after eating at lunch. Maybe is the food adding to the problem I will stick to light food now thank you x
I had the exact same! Awful stomach problems for a good week after collection. Totally normal but a real pain. Take some paracetamol if you're really struggling and pop a hot water bottle on your tum x
After egg collection, this does happen. One of the reasons why it is important to bed rest. I would suggest that at least for a few days rest completely. Don't work a lot. Good luck to you. I hope things go well. If you experience a lot of pain then do visit your doctor. Sending warm wishes.
