Cramping advice

Hi

Just look for some reassurance, had my IVF transfer 9 days ago. I was very naughty and couldn’t wait and did a pregnancy test 6 days after transfer. It was positive which is amazing as this is our third round.

Iv tested everyday I’m just paranoid it’s going to change now to not pregnant, Iv got my HCG blood test tomorrow so I’m praying I have good levels. I’m also paranoid that I’m going to start bleeding, I’m really just feel worried and anxious i’m not someone that really suffers with anxiety but I think as this is out of my control this is when I do struggle as I’m quite a control freak.

Iv had stomach craps on and off quite strong can this be implant up to 9 days after transfer ? No bleeding as of yet just once or twice a light pinky discharge.

I’m on cyclogest 400 mg morning and night

Lubion injections 25 mg once a night

5 x 2mg of progynova a day

Very mixed emotions scared to become excited just in case.

I’m worried about the pains has anyone else had this, I do have shocking periods normally and I do suffer with endometriosis.

Thank you for your advice

Congratulations hon. You think seeing those two lines is going to be the best feeling in the world, and it is, for about ten minutes, then for those of us who have struggled the anxiety starts and the wait until the first scan (and the next, and the next!!) can be as nerve wracking as the original 2ww.

Cramps are definitely not necessarily a bad sign. There's a lot going on in there and your uterus will be starting to stretch out. I had cramps most of the way through the 2ww and early pregnancy, almost as strong as period pain sometimes. I never had spotting but I know a lot of women do and it's pretty common, not necessarily a bad sign either.

Hope everything goes smoothly and it's a happy, healthy pregnancy for you xxx

Hi Frogmore. I think that what you are experiencing is your womb settling back down after being manipulated during transfer. Keep an eye on your urine output and any smells, just in case it could be down to some infection. Hopefully all should soon settle down again. Have a rest when you can and drink plenty of water. Diane

Cramping is very normal so just try to relax xx enjoy and congratulations xxx

I’ve had cramping feeling in my uterus since my transfer, I’m on day 13 and have a positive blood test, I swear the cramping is my body’s reaction to the little guy growing inside!!
